International Diploma in IT Skills Foundation for Young Learners

The International Diploma in IT Skills Foundation for Young Learners is for children aged 6 to 10 years opld and is the introduction to the world of technology and communication with the use of the computer.

The aim of the International Diploma in IT Skills Foundation for Young Learners is to develop the learning skills of children with creative ways to entertain and familiarize the small student to computer use.

The structure of the curricula has been developed with the assistance of experienced educators, and forms the basis for a comprehensive understanding of all subjects of basic level in computer science, promoting critical thinking and initiative of the student.

It consists of four levels, each of which includes knowledge and skills from different sections of the Information Technology and follows the spiral development model of knowledge.

The spiral model is a popular model that is based on the gradual increase of knowledge and differs from models based on sequential waterfall model.
The model has the form of a spiral where each cycle represents a phase of knowledge that gradually increases

The International Diploma in IT Skills Foundation for Young Learners on completion, makes the student capable, from the age of 11 years, to meet the demands on attending the Standard Level program and continuing to Proficiency level with the entrance to the gymnasium.
